Bodegas Lerma

Bodegas Lerma is a family-owned winery located in one of the most beautiful and rich in history towns of Spain. The Ducal Village of Lerma is 200 Km north of Madrid, on the banks of the Arlanza river, tributary of the “wine river” Duero.

The centuries-old winemaking tradition of the region makes itself evident in the very old vineyards that are still to be found in the D.O. Arlanza. Tempranillo grapes, and also Garnacha and Albillo Mayor, from these privileged plots are the basis of Lerma wines.

Caretaker of this precious heritage is Bodegas Lerma winemaker, Oscar Navarro, the youngest of the family. Oscar studied oenology at the Escuela de La Vid y El Vino in Madrid, creating his first wine in 1992. He and his older brothers, Andrés and Daniel, were actively involved in the creation of the Arlanza Denomination of Origin, guarantee of the top quality of the wines of the region since 2008.

Bodegas Lerma wines combine trendy modernity with the singular traditions of the Arlanza region paying close attention to the terroir. The result is fruity wines with subtle touches of wood, soft well-assembled tannins and great personality.
